Skins

Skins (also called weapon finishes) are cosmetic items that change the appearance of weapons in Counter-Strike 2. They do not affect gameplay.

Rarity Tiers

Skins come in seven rarity tiers:

Consumer Grade	White	~80%
Industrial Grade	Light Blue	~16%
Mil-Spec	Blue	~3.2%
Restricted	Purple	~0.64%
Classified	Pink	~0.128%
Covert	Red	~0.026%
Contraband	Gold	No longer drops

Exterior Conditions

Each skin has a float value (0.00 to 1.00) that determines its wear:

Condition	Float Range
Factory New	0.00 - 0.07
Minimal Wear	0.07 - 0.15
Field-Tested	0.15 - 0.38
Well-Worn	0.38 - 0.45
Battle-Scarred	0.45 - 1.00

Notable Skins

• AWP Dragon Lore — One of the most expensive skins, found in the Cobblestone collection
• M4A4 Howl — The only Contraband rarity skin, removed due to copyright dispute
• AK-47 Fire Serpent — Highly valued Operation Bravo collection skin
• AK-47 Case Hardened — Famous for "blue gem" patterns worth thousands
