Pistols are the starting and sidearm weapons in Counter-Strike 2. Every player begins each half with a default pistol (Glock-18 for Terrorists, USP-S or P2000 for Counter-Terrorists). Pistols cost $200–$700 and are crucial in eco rounds and as backup weapons.

Default Pistols

• Glock-18 (T) — High fire rate, burst mode, 20-round magazine
• USP-S (CT) — Silenced, accurate, 12 rounds
• P2000 (CT) — Unsilenced, larger magazine (13 rounds)

Upgrade Pistols

• P250 ($300) — Budget eco upgrade
• Five-SeveN (CT, $500) / Tec-9 (T, $500) — Force buy options
• CZ75-Auto ($500) — Only full-auto pistol
• Desert Eagle ($700) — One-shot headshot through helmet
• R8 Revolver ($600) — High damage with trigger delay
