Workshop Maps

Workshop Maps are community-created maps for Counter-Strike 2 available through the Steam Workshop. They range from aim training tools to creative game modes and custom map remakes.

Overview

The Steam Workshop is an integrated platform where community members can create, share, and download custom content for CS2. Workshop maps are one of the most popular categories, with thousands of maps available for practice, training, and entertainment.

How to Access Workshop Maps

Open Steam → Community → Workshop → Counter-Strike 2
Browse or search for maps
Click Subscribe on a map page
In CS2, open console and type: map workshop/[map_id]/[map_name]
Or use Play → Practice → Workshop in the CS2 menu

Creating Workshop Maps

CS2 includes the Hammer Editor for map creation:

Accessed through Steam → Tools → Counter-Strike 2 Workshop Tools
Uses Source 2 engine map editing capabilities
Maps can include custom textures, models, and logic entities
Published maps can be shared and rated by the community
